A rustic-looking pocket knife named after the Belgian city of Lier where this model was probably used by farmers around 1800. It was used for cutting all kinds of materials in the field. From cutting bread to cutting branches and finishing horses' hooves.

It has a very distinctive shape. The handle is angular made of rough untreated beech. The blade is forged from non-stainless steel, hardened to more than 58 HRC (Rockwell). This knife is particularly stable and very suitable for outdoor activities.
