Product description

Robert Herder harvesting knife, for harvesting beets, celery and cabbages, among others. This extra thick knife with a blade of 2.25 mm is ideally equipped for the heavy work for which it was developed. Due to the intensive use and abrasive effect of sand, the knife can lose its sharpness, but the thin-schliff shaped blade makes it easy to get your knife sharp again.

This harvesting knife is one of Robert Herder's classics. It has an elongated, oval handle and has been around for more than 80 years. Of course it is 'finely polished' by hand. The blade is made of carbon steel with a hardness of 60 HRC (Rockwell hardness), our standard hardness for carbon steel knives. This knife is 100% FSC certified.

This knife has a carbon steel blade, for proper maintenance we recommend the Robert Herder Maintenance set for carbon knives
