The ultra-strong canvas Micarta handle has a contoured pommel and a machined lanyard eye for a sure, comfortable grip for any camping task. Our 60/40 blade grind transfers extra weight across the cutting edge and the ballistic clip point adds strength to the point.

Despite the extra weight, the Overland Camp chef's knife is surprisingly responsive and lively when used on a cutting board. Staying sharp is important, so we used N690 cobalt steel, which retains excellent sharpness and is easy to restore.

MAINTENANCE

• Hand wash with warm water and mild detergent; rinse and dry immediately.
• Do not put in the dishwasher.
